As of January 30, 2023, the Northern long-eared bat will be upgraded to endangered at the federal level. This change in status is based on species populations experiencing reduction due to white-nose syndrome. Join us for an online event featuring the acting Field Supervisor for the Chicago Field Office, Kraig McPeek,U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. He will provide us with an update on the status of several species and the steps to assist consultants with permitting and consultation.
IAEP will provide a certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours to webinar attendee within 3 weeks following this event. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine if this course meets the requirements of professional development for each license and state of licensure for which the attendee is claiming continuing education credit.
