Mark Foisy has been the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS)
Specialist for the Great Lakes Region of Flight Standards in the
FAA since 2013.
Mark started with the FAA in 2009, as an Aviation Safety
Inspector in the Portland OR, Certificate Management Office,
with oversight of Horizon Airlines. From 1999 to 2009, he flew
for SkyWest Airlines and United Airlines, flying many aircraft,
from 30-seat turbo-props, to the wide-body Boeing-767.
From 1989 to 1998, Mark flew F-16s for the US Air Force in
various theaters around the world.
